‘Star Wars’ film REMOVED from 2026 lineup; replaced with ‘Ice Age 6’

​The removed ‘Star Wars’ movie was rumoured to be directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and intended to follow Daisy Ridley’s Rey as she rebuilds the Jedi Order after the events of ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ (2019). However, the project faced setbacks, including the departure of multiple writers such as Steven Knight and Damon Lindelof, causing delays in its development.
