39 year old dental surgeon dies hours after participating in Goa marathon

Dr. Mithun Kudalkar, a 39-year-old dental surgeon and accomplished athlete, died hours after completing a 20-mile marathon in Goa. Despite being declared fit by doctors after experiencing discomfort, he collapsed at home. While the cause remains undetermined, sudden cardiac arrest is suspected. His running partner noted he appeared fine during the race, only later complaining of acidity.
