Coimbatore airport: Bomb threat email turns out hoax

An email threatening a bomb at Coimbatore International Airport led to a swift investigation by the CISF’s Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad. The scare, received late Tuesday night, was determined to be a hoax by early Wednesday. Subsequently, a complaint was filed with the Peelamedu police by a CISF official.
