Firing at Sukhbir Singh Badal: Who is shooter Narayan Singh Chaura?

Former deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal narrowly escaped an assassination attempt at the Golden Temple when a hardline Sikh activist fired at him. The assailant, identified as Narayan Singh Chaura, a known Khalistani terrorist, was quickly apprehended. Badal was at the temple performing religious punishment assigned by the Akal Takht Board.
