Eastern Naval Command (ENC) plans to expand INS Dega in Visakhapatnam after Bhogapuram airport in Vizianagaram becomes operational

The Eastern Naval Command (ENC) of the Indian Navy plans to expand INS Dega in Visakhapatnam after the completion of the Bhogapuram international airport. This expansion will include the induction of Rafale aircraft. Additionally, plans are underway for berthing INS Vikrant at Visakhapatnam and integrating advanced AI systems for surveillance and underwater operations.
