John Cena to lead in ‘Matchbox’, a live-action adaptation of Mattel toy line
John Cena will star in Matchbox, a live-action film inspired by Mattel’s toy car line, produced by Apple Original Films, Skydance, and Mattel Films. Directed by Sam Hargrave, the screenplay is by David Coggeshall and Jonathan Tropper. Cena recently appeared in Jackpot and is filming Peacemaker’s second season.
