Prithviraj Sukumaran wrapped up filming for ‘L2: Empuraan’, the sequel to the hit action drama ‘Lucifer’, on the banks of the Malampuzha reservoir. The film, set to release on March 27, 2025, stars Mohanlal and features an ensemble cast including Tovino Thomas and Manju Warrier. Mohanlal expressed gratitude for the 14-month journey, praising Prithviraj’s direction and Murali Gopy’s storytelling. Mohanlal’s upcoming fantasy film ‘Barroz’ marks his directorial debut.
