CBI arrests 2 narcotics bureau cops for taking Rs 1.10 lakh bribe

The CBI’s Anti-Corruption Branch in Bhopal arrested two contractual employees, Ram Nivas and Kanti Lal, of the Central Bureau of Narcotics, Mandsaur, for accepting a bribe of Rs 1.10 lakh on behalf of Sub-Inspector Abhishek Agnihotri. The bribe was demanded for issuing an opium cultivation license. All parties involved have been booked, and investigations are ongoing.
