Pune Rural gives NOC to NCP, party bags six out of 10 seats

Dilip Walse Patil narrowly won his eighth consecutive term, while independent candidate Sharad Sonawane made a surprising comeback in Junnar. Dattatraya Bharne continued his winning streak in Indapur, defeating Harshavardhan Patil for the third time.
