Can being busy help improve ADHD? Here’s what a study says
A new study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry discovered that higher environmental demand reduces ADHD symptoms. The study, which followed 483 ADHD patients for 16 years, found that busy schedules may contribute to temporary remission of ADHD symptoms. Researchers theorize that increased stimulation and dopamine levels associated with a demanding schedule may counteract ADHD symptoms.
