Iconic opening procession to reflect Goan culture and Church tradition

The relics of Saint Francis Xavier were carried in a solemn procession from the Basilica of Bom Jesus to the Se Cathedral in Goa, India. The procession, a key event in the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman’s decennial Exposition, featured a human chain, a brass band, and representatives from different religious communities.
