ED raids a trader after BJP alleged his involvement in ‘vote-jihad’

The Enforcement Directorate is investigating Siraj Mohammad for suspicious transactions worth Rs 125 crore. Searches are being conducted in multiple cities including Mumbai and Surat. The BJP alleges these funds were intended to influence voters. Malegaon police had previously charged Mohammad with fraud and forgery for allegedly deceiving locals and misusing their bank accounts.
