Exclusive: India to host World Para Athletics for first time

India is gearing up to host the World Para Athletics Championships at New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium next year. Over 100 countries and 1,000 athletes are expected to participate in this major event for para athletes. The event will entail a significant renovation of the stadium, including a new synthetic track, at a cost of Rs 40-50 crore.
