Nida, first Indian to compete in Equestrian World Endurance C’ship
22-year-old Nida Anjum Chelat from Tirur, Malappuram, will become the first Indian to compete in the senior FEI Equestrian World Endurance Championship, starting on September 7 in Monpazier, France. Competing with 144 riders from 40 countries, Nida is inspired by her experience from last year’s junior championship, where she finished a 120 km course in 7 hours and 29 minutes.
