Tripura HC slams Tripura University and slaps fine of Rs 25000 for negligence

The Tripura High Court imposed a Rs 25,000 fine on Tripura Central University for its negligence in handling a professor’s certificate request. Assistant Professor Rajat Deb had to seek the court’s intervention after the university failed to provide him with the necessary No Objection and Experience Certificates needed to apply for a promotion.
