Karnataka increases incentive funds for SC/ST students in IITs, IIMs, IISc, and NITs

The Karnataka government has increased the incentive funds for SC and ST students studying in prestigious institutions like IITs, IIMs, IISc, and NITs. The fund has been raised from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh, aiming to boost educational achievements among these communities. Additionally, SC students scoring above 95% in PUC exams and securing MBBS management quota seats will receive Rs 25 lakh. The move underscores the state’s commitment to empowering underprivileged students through education.
