Sub-junior, Junior karate kids forced to punch above their weight

Junior karate athletes in Kerala are facing a significant disadvantage as the state only conducts senior-level competitions for the Kerala State Sports Schools’ Meet. This limits the number of athletes eligible to qualify for the National School Games, despite Kerala having 72 slots available.
