Pole not good enough, record-setter Sivadev Rajeev mulls skipping junior nationals

Sivadev Rajeev, who broke the 12-year-old pole vault record at the Kerala State Schools’ meet, is considering skipping the National Junior Athletics Championship. Despite clearing 4.80m, he believes his current pole won’t allow him to reach the 5m mark needed to compete at the national level.
