JPC chairman Jagdambika Pal to visit Karnataka on Nov 7 to meet farmers protesting Waqf notices

Jagdambika Pal, Chairman of the Joint Committee of Parliament on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, is set to visit Karnataka on Thursday. His visit aims to address concerns of farmers who were served notices over alleged encroachment on Waqf properties. The notices have since been withdrawn by the Karnataka government, attributing them to a gazette error.
