Karnataka: Several devotees injured as thousands throng to Deviramma temple

At least 12 devotees sustained minor injuries after slipping on hills at Deviramma temple in Chikkamagaluru during heavy rain on Thursday. The annual festival drew hundreds of visitors despite the challenging weather. Authorities had taken safety measures, and all injured were safely rescued. The festival will conclude on November 3.
