Shakespeare’s Hamlet gets a musical twist on stage

Lucknowites experienced a unique rendition of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, infused with Indian music and costumes. Directed by Joy Maisam, the production integrated traditional folk dance, Chauu, learned during a 35-day tour in Jharkhand. Key roles were played by Sanjay Sharma, Deep Chand Gupta, Vivek Rana, and Jyoti Dhami, with choreography by Shashdhar Acharya.
