Punjab launches QR code system to combat spurious seeds

Punjab agriculture minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian introduced a QR Code system to provide quality seeds to farmers, aiming to eliminate spurious seeds and maintain the seed supply chain’s integrity. Farmers can now verify seed quality, source, and certification by scanning QR codes on seed bags.
