Air quality monitoring network expands in NCR but no new stations for Delhi

The Union ministry of environment, forests and climate change plans to expand air quality monitoring in NCR, with 21 new stations in Haryana and 30 in Uttar Pradesh. Delhi, which currently has 40 stations, will see no additions. This comes in response to a National Green Tribunal order querying the current and proposed monitoring infrastructure.
