A day after Shimla stir, Hindu groups protest against illegal construction at Mandi mosque

Massive protests occurred in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, over alleged illegal construction at a mosque on Jail Road. The mosque authorities stated they demolished the unauthorised portion themselves. Following violent clashes in Shimla, heavy security was deployed with around 300 police personnel stationed in Mandi to maintain law and order.
