Blackmailed into paying Rs 1cr over 30 years, Gujarat banker ends life

A 72-year-old retired banker in Ahmedabad committed suicide by consuming poison after being blackmailed for 30 years with false rape accusations. The victim left a suicide note detailing how he had paid Rs 1 crore to the woman and her family, who allegedly harassed and extorted him.
