How exclusion of hockey, wrestling, cricket from CWG 2026 is huge blow to India

India’s medal prospects took a hit as the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow will take place without sports like hockey, cricket, wrestling, and badminton. It will result in a reduced medal count when compared to the 2022 Games in Birmingham.
