6 dead, several injured in cylinder blast in Uttar Pradesh

At least six people died in a cylinder blast in Ashapuri Colony, Sikandrabad on Monday evening. Three males and three females were among the victims. The blast occurred between 8.30 and 9pm. Authorities have rescued eight people, with one in critical condition. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the explosion.
