NIA nabs key suspect in radicalisation plot to form Islamic caliphate in India
The National Investigation Agency arrested Aziz Ahamed at Bengaluru airport for his role in a plot to radicalize youth and form an Islamic caliphate in India. Connected to the Hizb-ut-Tahrir group, Ahamed is among six suspects under investigation, who were radicalizing youth through secretive ‘Bayaans’ promoting the group’s ideology.
