Delhi projected to slip into revenue deficit for first time in 31 years
Delhi’s finances are predicted to fall into deficit for the first time by the end of FY25, with expenses surpassing revenue. Earnings are projected to decline to Rs 62,415 crore, while revenue expenditure is likely to rise to Rs 63,911 crore. An additional Rs 7,000 crore is required for capital projects.
