Mehbooba Mufti cancels election campaign for a day after death of Hassan Nasarallah

People’s Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti announced a one-day pause in her J&K assembly election campaign to stand in solidarity with Palestine and Lebanon following Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah’s death. Jammu and Kashmir elections are being held in three phases, with the final phase on October 1 and results on October 8.
