When only 750 spectators turned up to watch an India vs Pakistan ODI
On September 16, 1996, India and Pakistan played the first ODI of their series in Toronto. However, just 750 spectators came to watch the match that was hit by rain and inclement weather. The game was reduced to a 33-overs-a-side affair. Sachin Tendulkar’s remarkable knock of 89 runs led India to an eight-wicket victory.
