Michael B. Jordan set to direct and star in new ‘Thomas Crown Affair’ movie
This new project marks the third installment of The Thomas Crown Affair franchise. The first version, released in 1968, starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway and was directed by Norman Jewison. A 1999 remake featured Pierce Brosnan as the charming art thief Thomas Crown and Rene Russo as the insurance investigator who falls in love with him. While Crown isn’t a physically aggressive character like James Bond or Ethan Hunt, he’s known for his charisma, offering Jordan another complex role to explore.
