Odisha strengthens semiconductor industry with RIR power electronics facility launch

RIR Power Electronics Ltd. has initiated the establishment of India’s first Silicon Carbide manufacturing facility in Bhubaneswar, investing Rs 620 crores over three years. This project will create over 500 jobs and contribute to Odisha’s ambition to become a semiconductor hub, while fostering collaboration with IIT Bhubaneswar for research.
