NIA team reaches Jhansi to quiz Mufti in radicalisation case, faces resistance from local

The NIA launched nationwide raids targeting a JeM-inspired group, arresting one for alleged radicalization and propaganda. Searches spanned 26 locations, uncovering potential evidence. In Jhansi, a crowd resisted NIA’s attempt to detain Mufti Khalid Nadvi, nephew of the city Qazi, following an eight-hour search. Nadvi was later taken for questioning after police intervention.
