CBI arrests manager of Bank of Baroda for demanding Rs 1 lakh bribe

Bank of Baroda branch manager Ankit Malik was arrested by the CBI in Uttar Pradesh for accepting a ₹1 lakh bribe. Malik demanded the bribe to sanction an ₹80 lakh loan. He was caught after withdrawing the bribe, paid via cheque. A subsequent search revealed a pistol at his Bulandshahr residence.
