Apple may be developing a custom AI server chip with Broadcom

Apple is partnering with Broadcom to develop a custom AI processing chip, code-named Baltra. This chip, slated for mass production by 2026, will be manufactured using TSMC’s advanced N3P process. This move strengthens Apple’s AI capabilities, building on recent Apple Intelligence features and its history of in-house chip design.
