Newly-wed Andhra Pradesh man ends life as loan sharks circulate couple’s morphed photo

A 22-year-old newlywed fisherman in Visakhapatnam tragically took his own life after being harassed by online loan app agents. Despite repaying a ₹2,000 loan, the agents circulated morphed obscene photos of him and his wife to his contacts. The incident occurred on December 7th, shortly after his October wedding, and has prompted calls for action against predatory lending practices.
