Arrests of touts at IGI Airport nearly double in 2024: Delhi Police

Delhi Police have significantly increased arrests of touts at IGI Airport in 2024, with 540 arrests compared to 264 in 2023. These touts often deceive passengers, particularly at night, with inflated prices for services like taxis and accommodation. One foreign national was scammed out of nearly Rs. 1 lakh. Increased patrols and joint operations are underway to combat this issue.
