BJP leader Pravesh Ratan joins Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)

In a political turnaround, former BJP candidate Pravesh Ratan, who lost the 2020 Delhi Assembly Patel Nagar seat, joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Ratan’s switch comes months after former AAP MLA Raaj Kumar Anand, who defeated Ratan in the previous election, joined the BJP. Ratan cited Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership and AAP’s social welfare initiatives as reasons for his decision.
