Tremors felt in Maharashtra after earthquake hits Telangana

Strong tremors were felt in Nagpur after a 5.3 magnitude earthquake struck Mulugu, Telangana, around 300 km away. District Collector Vipin Itankar assured residents there was no cause for alarm as no major damage was reported. The India Meteorological Department confirmed light tremors in Nagpur and Gadchiroli districts.
