Kerala toddler injured on genitals for wetting bed, 3 caretakers held

Police in Thiruvananthapuram arrested three women caretakers of the Kerala State Child Welfare Committee for injuring a two-and-a-half-year-old girl on her private parts. The girl was injured for wetting the bed. The Kerala State Council for Child Welfare terminated seven caretakers who were on duty. Medical examination revealed the injuries were caused by pinching.
