Elderly man injured in chain snatching incident in Udupi

A 66-year-old man was injured during a chain-snatching incident in Kantavara village. The incident occurred when the man was returning home from Kanteshwara Temple. A motorcyclist pretending to ask for directions snatched a gold chain worth Rs 1.20 lakh. The victim sustained injuries during the scuffle. A case has been registered at Karkala Police Station.
