Thane govt hospital performs 72 surgeries in 24 hours

Thane Civil Hospital set a new record by performing 72 pediatric surgeries in a single day. A team led by Dr. Sanjay Oak and Dr. Kailash Pawar conducted surgeries on children aged one to 18 years, addressing conditions like lipoma, hernia, phimosis, and hydrocele. The surgeries marked Dr. Oak’s 65th birthday.
