Needless controversy over OTT series , says Kandahar plane hijack survivor

Pooja Kataria, who survived the 1999 Indian Airlines hijacking, dismissed the controversy surrounding Netflix’s ‘IC814: The Kandahar Hijack’. She confirmed that the series accurately depicts real events and code names used by hijackers. Kataria recounted her ordeal and mentioned receiving a shawl from a hijacker on her birthday.
