Navi Mumbai: Trees near Belapur fort cut for buildings, Centre orders action

A citizens’ movement in Navi Mumbai aiming to save trees from being axed for a housing project near Belapur fort has led the Union forest ministry to direct a state forest official to investigate and take necessary action.
