Eastern Naval Command (ENC) plans to expand INS Dega in Visakhapatnam after Bhogapuram airport in Vizianagaram district becomes operational

The Eastern Naval Command of the Indian Navy plans to expand INS Dega in Visakhapatnam after commissioning the Bhogapuram international airport by June 2026. Rafale aircrafts will soon be inducted, and new infrastructure will be developed for increased military use.
