Paris Paralympics: Powerlifters Sakina Khatun finishes 7th, Parmjeet 8th

Sakina Khatun and Parmjeet Kumar, Indian powerlifters, finished seventh and eighth respectively at the Paris Paralympics. In the women’s 45kg event, Sakina’s best lift was 86kg, while Parmjeet achieved a best of 150kg in the men’s 49kg category. Both athletes managed only one successful lift each.
