Almost 1,000 bomb hoax messages received by airlines so far this year

Airlines have experienced a significant surge in bomb hoax messages, with almost 1,000 reported by mid-November 2024. October saw over 600 threats, mainly affecting IndiGo, Air India, Vistara, and Akasa. The government is enhancing airport security measures in response to this disruption.
