Isro to launch Europe’s Sun mission on December 4

ISRO will launch the Proba-3 mission next Wednesday. Two satellites will fly 150 meters apart. One satellite will block the Sun’s light. The other satellite will observe the Sun’s corona. This creates an artificial solar eclipse. Scientists will study the Sun’s corona and solar wind. The mission will generate 50 artificial eclipses per year. Each eclipse will last six hours.
