CISF goes digital: New e-service book to expedite pension process for retiring personnel

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) launched an ‘e-service book’ portal to expedite pension processing for its retiring personnel. This digital system eliminates physical service book transfers, enabling real-time tracking and ensuring timely pension payments. The portal addresses delays and errors previously encountered, particularly in remote areas, benefiting approximately 2,400 personnel annually.
